In the fall of 2018, CHIMPOLITEK delivered the booms of DESMI KS-18 and small skimmers DESMI Mini Max to arm the duty and rescue units of the LUKOIL-Perm company. The constant buoyancy booms DESMI KS-18 are low weight booms for quick response to oil spills. The boom can be easily installed without the use of auxiliary equipment, for example, 200 meters of boom can be deployed on the water in less than 5 minutes. In spite of their low weight, these booms have high tensile strength (53kN), which allows them to be reused in operation (guaranteed service life of more than 7 years).
